We lost our first tooth!!! Talk about exciting and dramatic! It had been loose for weeks with no complaints! Finally, one Saturday he came in the living room because it was bleeding. (He said he hit it on the door? Who really knows!) We got the thread out and tied it around the tooth and PULLED!!! Nothing happened! :( So I finally got a clean dish towel and grabbed ahold and pulled. Still nothing happened!! I tried one more time! It finally came out. Jaiden sort of cried, I told him I didn't get it. Immediately he put his tongue through his teeth and said "YES YOU DID!!!" It was soooo funny! So we had to put the tooth under his pillow. (A few days earlier he told his Nana he had to put it under his toenail??? I don't know where these things come from!) The toothfairy came and gave him $3!! The next morning he came in the living room with what he thought was his tooth and gave it to his dad. I woke up and Marlin said the toothfairy forgot to get his tooth! I looked at what they thought was his tooth and discovered it was a piece of POPCORN!!!! So the toothfairy still has a job and Jaiden's tooth is really gone! It has been so fun experiencing these events in our kids lives!!! Many more to come!
